Tremelo has been shown to safely reduce arm shaking and improve fine motor skills for people with hand tremors. Simply, the wearable sleeve uses a built-in small mass that shakes back and forth against the tremor motion. Tremelo uses the principle of energy absorption — normally found to steady planes, bridges and tall buildings — to counteract the shaking in hands.
There are other hand-tremor devices in the research and testing stages, but none that use the energy absorption concept that makes the Tremelo a unique non-invase device.
